• The key requirements under data protection law.
• The particular rules around sending electronic communications, for example, a fundraising email.
• The proposed reforms that might make it easier for charities to send electronic communications.

Bio

Claire is a Legal Director at VWV who provides advice on all areas of data protection compliance.  Claire advises charities on a wide range of issues including data sharing, transparency obligations, marketing and fundraising compliance and data subjects' rights. Claire combines technical expertise with strategic advice. She understands the importance of aligning data protection compliance with a charity's wider objectives.

Our Lunch & Learn series aims to help facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and best practices across the local Third Sector. We believe that by sharing this information, we can all make a greater positive impact in our local communities.
