About the Event
This event is part of the BaNES Social Enterprise Programme of events. It's free and open to all, however spaces are limited.
This workshop is being run by 3SG, who will be joined by Julian Blake from Stone King.
Workshop Objective
The aim of the workshop is to help social entrepreneurs better understand the opportunities and risks of working with the public sector to deliver services.
Goals
To help participants:
- understand how social enterprises may work in commercial relationships with various public bodies
- better understand the commissioning and procurement process and explore the concept of social value
- consider how they might look to win work from public sector commissioners, how to navigate the system, find opportunities and next steps
