We are looking for an experienced, well-organised Debt Caseworker to join our debt advice team. Further details can be found in the job description on our website. The post is full time and suitable for job share. The successful applicant will be working across our sites in Bath as well as at Midsomer Norton & Keynsham as needed.

Debt Caseworker specific responsibilities
Provide clients with initial advice on their presenting problem, either face to face or over the phone
Act for clients where necessary providing full casework through to completion of the case
Ensure income maximisation for clients including the take up of welfare benefits, charity applications and advise on budgeting and financial capability.
Meet targets for applications to Wessex Water schemes
Assist clients with other related problems where they are an integral part of their case and refer to other advisors or specialist agencies as appropriate
Ensure that all casework meets current quality standards.
Maintain case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval, statistical monitoring, and report preparation
Ensure that all work conforms to the organisations systems and procedures and funder requirements
