OTR exists to improve the emotional health and wellbeing of young people. We want every young person in Bath and North East Somerset to be emotionally healthy, confident and empowered in themselves. This role in critical to enabling us achieving our vision. Purpose of Job This senior role will manage and oversee OTR’s Wellbeing services, which are our listening support and counselling offerings for young people. We provide these in the community and at schools, college and universities across BaNES. The post holder will have responsibility for working with our external clinical supervisors and, together with the Director, will manage OTR’s clinical governance. You’ll be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL), working with the Director on safeguarding matters across the organisation. You’ll line manage and develop the lead counsellors and listening support lead, overseeing our staff and volunteer teams in delivering the best possible services for young people. Working with the Director, you’ll be the main point of contact for our commissioners and funders for the Wellbeing services we deliver, whilst also overseeing their quality assurance and development. The post holder will be part of OTR’s senior management team (SMT), working closely with the Head of Voice Services and Head of Resources as well as the Director to actively oversee the growth and development of the organisation, and delivery of our strategy.
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (or at least 30 hours per week)
Salary: Band G £35,171 - £36,225
