Working as part of a small friendly team in our office base in Odd Down, you will use your knowledge of child development, play and family partnership working to support an allocated caseload of families referred to us through the Family Support & Play Service. An Early Help Service funded through a B&NES Commissioned contract.

You will be working in partnership with the whole family to support the development of physical and emotional caring skills including improved attachment through regular support at home, in the community or in groups. This will include working as part of the team at Playdays during school holidays.

Enabling children to become more resilient and less socially isolated using play as a catalyst for change in behaviour and confidence.

Using an inclusive and child-centred approach, supporting the participation of children in the design and review of the support / service

Supporting parents to develop improved relationships with their children through play, increase their confidence and develop their emotional well-being and supporting family cohesion

You will receive regular supervision, 33 days AL inc BH, free parking, (No CAZ charge in Odd Down!), access to CPD and support with training costs with flexible working. You will need access to a vehicle as support is provided across B&NES for which mileage can be claimed.
