This week is Village Halls Week, a celebration of the volunteers who run England’s 10,000+ village halls and the difference they make to their communities. We were fortunate enough to speak with one of our local members, Twerton Village Hall, earlier on this week:
"This week is #villagehallsweek and many halls are celebrating 100 years of being a village hall. Last year would have been our 100 year anniversary but we were unable to go ahead with the celebrations we had planned in the community. Village Halls Week is a national celebration of village halls and their volunteers and the difference they make to the communities they serve. I know that all the village halls of BANES could really do with a boost and I know many are unable to celebrate how they would usually." - Twerton Village Hall
