The 18 opportunities below are listed in order of closing date, and separated into two sections; Local and National.
Local Opportunities
This is an annual opportunity to apply for funding in order to offer existing or new activities and clubs. In order to access these opportunities on an annual basis Providers will need to have joined the Council’s framework for Term Time Only Short Breaks.

🪙 £1,000 - £3,000
This is a Bath based Trust that offers capital and/or revenue grants to registered charities and voluntary and community organisations, for art and music activities that benefit disadvantaged and/or disabled children in the South West of England.

🪙B&NES has been allocated £357,89
This fund has been launched to support the prioritisation of tackling health inequalities. Proposals are sought for projects to help us address specific health inequalities priorities which have been identified by BSW ICB.

🪙 Up to, and between, £1,000 - £7,000
This new £115,000 fund is opening on September 18th to support individuals, community groups and organisations to provide free active travel, creative, sustainable and cultural projects in the Somer Valley.

🪙 £500 - £15,000
A WECA Green Business Grant is designed to help SMEs and charities purchase and install new products and equipment that reduce your greenhouse gas emissions, cut your utility costs and improve your energy efficiency.
Apply for a grant of between £500 and £15,000 to cover between 30% and 60% of eligible capital costs of purchase and installation.

🪙 £500 - £5,000
Express grants are available to support local grassroots groups and small to medium organisations. Funding may be used to support the delivery of projects, services and activities that strengthen communities facing inequality or disadvantage, and/or improve the lives of local people with limited access to to appropriate or affordable services.
Priority is given to organisations with an annual turnover under £1 million.

🪙 £2,000
Applications are welcomed from small, local voluntary and community organisations in BaNES whose work benefits disadvantaged or isolated people. The funding must be used for either sport, active lifestyles, and/or play.
Priority is given to small organisations and projects which would not otherwise benefit from the Bath Half Marathon. Your organisation does not need to be a registered charity, so long as you have charitable aims.

National Opportunities
🪙Up to £100,000 per annum for up to 5 years
Grants are available to registered charities based in England to support the delivery of free legal advice to marginalised people and communities across England.

🪙 £75,000 of funding is available
A small number of grants are available to UK registered charities, Community Interest Companies and universities for new research projects that explore the consumer harms faced by diverse and disadvantaged communities and/or identify innovative solutions to these harms.
There is a two stage process.

🪙 Up to £100,000 over 2 years
Grants are available for collaborations led by small charities that are seeking to influence and achieve local or regional change around improving the social security system, particularly for those facing the greatest challenges, and improving access to suitable accommodation for people with complex needs.
New collaborations where a minimum of 3 partners are working together on a local issue and established collaborations with a partnership agreement, may apply for a grant, which may cover activity costs, staffing, core costs where they relate directly to the proposed project, and evaluation for a range of influencing activities.

🪙 £5,000 - £10,000
Applications are welcomed from non-profit, frontline organisations, with ideas for housing solutions to tackle injustices affecting vulnerable individuals in contact with the criminal justice system.

🪙 Up to £3,000
Grants are available to UK registered charities with a turnover of under £3 million, to deliver projects and activities that engage people in the arts, promote skills development in the arts and heritage sector, and support local and regional arts organisations and museums.

🪙 Up to £750,000
This is a £10m Grant Fund to support suicide prevention activities delivered in England by non-profit organisations of all sizes. The funding period is from financial year 2023 to 2024 to the end of the financial year 2024 to 2025.

🪙 Up to £2 million over 4 years
This £150 million government fund helps community groups buy or renovate assets that would otherwise be lost to the community. Voluntary and community groups can bid for funding to acquire important assets and run them for the benefit of the local community.
The amount of funding that all new applicants can bid for has recently been increased from £1 million to £2 million.
Interested groups can start their Community Ownership Fund application journey through submitting an Expression of Interest form at any time.

🪙 Up to £40,000 over 2 years
Applications are welcomed from charities and other organisations with an annual turnover under £1 million, who provide youth-led projects focussed on empowering young people to tackle the climate crisis. The application process is two-staged.

🪙 £400 - £1,600
This funding is for local groups to support increased running costs as a result of the crisis, such as rent, utilities, volunteering, food and other essentials. Eligible organisations must be not for profit, but do not need to be registered charities.

🪙 Up to £10,000
Grant funding is available to charities delivering projects which help to improve people's lives in communities. Priority is given to charities with an annual income under £1 million.

🪙 £2,000 - £10,000
Grants are available to support small, grass-roots local charities delivering services to the young, vulnerable, elderly or disadvantaged. Eligible charities will have an annual turnover under £150,000.
