Following the sad news of the Foundation of Social Improvement's (FSI) closure this spring, the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) has launched the Small Charities Advisory Panel.
This panel will support NCVO to continue the legacies of both the FSI and the Small Charities Coalition, which closed last year and prompted the planning of this panel to be created.
The fourteen panel members have already been appointed, with a date in May set for their first meeting. Panel members include representatives from six small charities, two funders and six infrastructure organisations.
Two co-chairs have been appointed; Ray Coyle, director of Oxford Hub, and Vicki Beevers, chief executive of the Sleep Charity.
