The Carers’ Centre have launched a revitalised website this week, improving their online offer for carers. The new site offers a better experience for unpaid carers, including online booking for activities and advice & support articles, and brings together the two previous sites they had for young and adult carers in to one place.
There is also a section dedicated to professionals working with carers of all ages. Earlier this year The Carers’ Centre heard that it wasn’t clear enough what they did, or how they helped people who care. This new section is designed to help change that. Over time, The Centre aims to develop this Professionals section further, to improve the information and tools they provide for those working with unpaid carers. The process for referring an adult carer or young carer has also been streamlined within the site.
Take a look around, pass on to your colleagues and stakeholders and let The Carers’ Centre know what you think! Contact Janine.woodward-grant@banescarerscentre.org.uk with any feedback you have.
